CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES

• Parish Development Model Tour: Assessment tour, a nation-wide campaign to elevate the progress and impact of the PDM to eliminate poverty in the rural areas.
• Industrialisation and economic development: Promoting industrial hubs and supporting small scale industries to simulate economic growth and job creation.
• Wealth creation initiatives: Emphasizing income generating at the household level, e.g., commercial agriculture, dairy farming to fight poverty.
• Launch of 4-acre model campaign to boost commercial agriculture: The 4-acre model campaign, a major project spearheaded by the President aims to improve Uganda’s agricultural environment and help pull communities out of poverty. The goal of the campaign is to incentivize farmers and diversify farming methods in order to increase production and support Uganda’s overall economic expansion.
